AMS 2011/01 二級工人

二級工人
在職公務員現可申請轉任醫療輔助隊二級工人。
薪級表
2. 二級工人的薪級表為第一標準薪級表第0 點(每月港幣9,035 元)
至第一標準薪級表第8 點註一(每月港幣10,655 元)。獲取錄人員的薪酬及
增薪日期將依照《公務員事務規例》第130 及第133 條的規定訂定,並會
載列於聘書上。
入職條件
3. 在職公務員,無論男女,均可應徵。申請人必須:
(a) 修畢小六,或具同等教育程度;
(b) 有一年的派送文件和清潔工作經驗;
(c) 中、英文語文能力達小六程度。
(註 : 面試時申請人須通過技能測驗註二。)
永久性居民身分
4. 申請人於獲聘時必須已成為香港特別行政區永久性居民。在一九
九七年七月一日之前初次按公務員聘用條款受聘而其服務並無中斷的在職
公務員則屬例外。
註一 頂薪點的資料只供參考之用,該項資料日後或會作出更改。
註二 如果符合訂明入職條件的應徵者人數眾多, 招聘部門可以訂立篩選準則, 甄選條件較佳的應徵
者,以便進一步處理。在此情況下,只有獲篩選的應徵者會獲邀參加面試和技能測驗。

職責
5. 獲取錄的人員主要負責以下工作:
(a) 運送訓練及行動所需物料及器材前往與醫療輔助隊活動有關
之各個地點;
(b) 收發物料;
(c) 派送工作,包括來往市區及新界各政府部門收發各項文件;及
(d) 在監督下執行清潔、搬移辦公室家具和器材的工作。
[ 註: 二級工人須輪班工作, 以及在颱風和其他緊急事故時執行職務, 他們須
加入醫療輔助隊為志願隊員。]
聘用條款
6. 申請人如獲錄用,將按個別情況以按月聘用條款、試任條款或試用
條款受聘。入職薪酬、聘用條款及服務條件應以發出聘書時的規定為準。如
有需要,獲取錄的人員(在職的乙類人員除外)須接受部門間調職安排,以填
補其他政策局/部門內同一職系的職位空缺和擔任同一職系下不同種? 的職
務。
《基本法》知識測試
7. 為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風
氣,所有公務員職位的招聘,均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。獲邀參加遴
選面試的申請人,本隊會在面試中以口頭提問形式評核其對基本法的認識。
除非兩位申請人的整體表現相若,本隊才會參考申請人在基本法知識測試中
的表現。
申請手續
8. 申請人須以通用表格第340 號(1/2011 修訂版)提出申請,申請書須於
二零一一年三月十一日或之前送交九龍何文田公主道81 號醫療輔助隊總部
325 室人事部 (郵寄的申請表,以香港郵戳日期為準)。申請人必須使用所指
定的申請表格,及夾附修業成績單副本, 及/或公開考試成績副本一份( 後
者如適用),以證明符合學歷要求。未填妥申請表、逾期遞交或未妥為簽署

的申請表概不受理。如申請人於截止日期後兩個月內仍未獲邀參加面試,則

AUXILIARY MEDICAL SERVICE
VACANCY CIRCULAR NO. AMS 2011/01
Workman II
To: Permanent Secretaries c.c. Judiciary Administrator
Heads of Department
(Note: Permanent Secretaries/Heads of Department are requested to ensure
that copies of this circular are circulated to all eligible officers and
displayed on staff notice boards in all offices of their
bureaux/departments until after the closing date for applications.)
Applications are invited from serving civil servants for appointment as
Workman II in the Auxiliary Medical Service.
Pay Scale
2. The pay scale of Workman II is from Model Scale I Pay Scale Point 0
($9,035 per month) to Model Scale I Pay Scale Point 8 Note 1 ($10,655 per month).
The pay and incremental date for a successful candidate will be determined in
accordance with the provisions of Civil Service Regulations 130 and 133 and as set
out in the letter of appointment.
Entry Requirements
3. The post is open to both male and female serving civil servants.
Candidates should have –
(a) completed Primary 6 education or equivalent;
(b) 1 year’s experience in messengerial and cleansing duties; and
(c) attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English languages
equivalent to Primary 6 standard.
(Note : Candidates will be required to pass a trade test conducted during
the interview Note 2 .)
Permanent Residency Requirement
4. Candidates must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special
Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless they were first appointed on
civil service terms of appointment before 1 July 1997 and have continued in service
without a break.
Note 1 The information on the maximum pay point is for reference only and it may be subject to changes.
Note 2 Where a large number of candidates meet the specified entry requirements, the recruiting department
may devise shortlisting criteria to select the better qualified candidates for further processing. In
these circumstances, only shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the interview and trade test.

Duties
5. The successful candidate is mainly deployed on -
(a) delivery of training and operational stores/equipment to various
locations in connection with departmental and volunteer activities;
(b) assisting duties in receipt and issue of stores;
(c) messengerial duties, including delivery of documents to and from
Government offices in urban areas and New Territories; and
(d) cleansing/moving of office furniture and equipment under supervision;
[Note: A Workman II is required to work shifts and to perform duties during
typhoons and other emergencies. He/She has to become a member of Auxiliary
Medical Service.]
Terms of Appointment
6. Successful candidates will be offered appointment on month-to-month,
trial or probationary terms as appropriate. The entry pay, terms of appointment and
conditions of service to be offered are subject to the provisions prevailing at the time
the offer of appointment is made. Successful candidates, except for those who are of
Category B status, are subject to posting to fill vacancies and carry out different duties
in the same grade in other bureaux/departments when the need arises.
Basic Law Knowledge Assessment
7. For the purpose of heightening public awareness of the Basic Law (BL)
and promoting a culture of learning of BL in the community, assessment of BL
knowledge will be included in the recruitment for all civil service jobs. Candidates
who are invited to attend the recruitment interview will be tested orally on their BL
knowledge during recruitment interview. The results of BL assessment will be taken
into account only if two candidates are considered equal in all other aspects.

Personnel Registry, Auxiliary Medical Service HQs, Room 325, 81 Princess Margaret
Road, Homantin, Kowloon not later than 11 March 2011 (according to the dates of
postmarks for submissions by post). Applicants should attach copies of their official
transcripts and/or public examination results (if appropriate) to support their
applications. Applications not made in the prescribed form or which are incomplete,
late or not duly signed will not be considered. Applicants who are not invited for
interview within two months from the closing date may assume that their applications
