如何從食物類別中選擇食物的實用貼士

大家應利用“飲食金字塔”來幫助計劃健康飲食（嬰兒除外）。在日常飲食中應確保包含所有食物類別，這對維持身體健康十分重要。從小培養健康的飲食習慣亦極其重要。家長及保姆都應該為兒童做個好榜樣，並鼓勵小朋友與他們一起作出更健康的飲食選擇。

吃最多

五穀類：

* 應挑選更多五穀類食物，如麵包、穀類食物、米飯及麵食。五穀類食物是健康飲食的基礎。
* 避免食用高脂食物，如炒飯、炒麵或即食麵。此類食品可能會導致攝入過多熱量，使體重增加。
* 挑選更多全穀類食品，如全麥包及燕麥片。全穀類食品的膳食纖維和營養成分高於經打磨的五穀類食物，如白麵包及白飯。

吃多些

水果類和蔬菜類：

* 水果和蔬菜含豐富膳食纖維、抗氧化劑、維生素和礦物質，如維他命A、C，及鉀。
* 應選擇更多顏色鮮豔的水果和蔬菜，如菠菜、胡蘿蔔、番茄和木瓜，因為它們往往含有較多維生素和礦物質。
* 避免把蔬菜煮得太久，以減少營養的流失。
* 有咀嚼困難的人士可以把蔬菜切成小段，以幫助咀嚼。
* 應多吃整個水果，而非選擇果汁。

吃適量

肉類和乾豆類：


* 選擇低脂肉類。例如瘦肉、去皮家禽以及魚肉等，以減少從餸菜及湯羹中攝入油份和膽固醇。
* 食用乾豆及豆製食品，例如黃豆和豆腐。這都是含有豐富蛋白質的食物。
* 炸豆腐及枝竹屬高脂食物，應盡量少吃。


奶類：


* 應選擇低脂及脫脂奶，由於它們的飽和脂肪含量較低，對身體更有益。
* 飲用牛奶後有腸道不適的人士，可食用其他高鈣食品，例如高鈣豆奶、黃豆、豆腐、及深綠色的多葉蔬菜等等。

吃最少

油、鹽及糖類：



* 多吃新鮮食物，少食罐頭或醃製食品，例如醃菜、香腸、午餐肉。這些都是高脂及含鹽量極高的食物。
* 少吃含添加糖的食物及飲品，例如蛋糕及汽水。以新鮮水果代替蛋糕、雪糕作為甜品。
* 選擇天然調味品，例如薑、蔥、蒜及胡椒粉。不加糖和不加鹽，以天然調味帶出食物原味。
* 宜用易潔鑊煎炒食物，或在煎炒食物時只用少許菜油，並應快速煎炒，這樣可以減少用油的份量。
* 細閱包裝食品上的營養標籤，選擇低脂（總脂肪和反式脂肪）、低糖及低鹽（鈉）食物。
