問:我需要在A1格儲存內輸入文字,由於英文句子由A1延至C1,因此英文字句被B1及C1蓋住了一半。但由於格式問題,A1不能延長儲存格的闊度。請問A1的英文字怎樣才可以不被B1及C1遮蓋著。

Applications are invited from serving civil servants for appointment as Surveyor
of Ships (Ship) in the Marine Department.
Pay Scale
2. The pay scale of Surveyor of Ships (Ship) is from Master Pay Scale Point 34
($49,480) to Master Pay Scale Point 44 Note 1 ($74,675) per month. The pay and incremental
date for a successful candidate will be determined in accordance with the provisions of Civil
Service Regulations 130 and 133 and as set out in the letter of appointment.
(Note: Subject to the prevailing situation, candidates with additional experience may be
granted increments for previous relevant experience in excess of the stipulated
minimum.)
Entry Requirements
3. Candidates should have:
(a) a degree in naval architecture or related technology acceptable to the
Director of Marine;
(b) a corporate membership of a naval architect institution acceptable to the
Director of Marine;

(c) four years’ relevant experience after obtaining corporate membership;
and
(d) ‘Level 2’ or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the
Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE)Note 2, or

(Note: (i) Candidates without a pass in Chinese Language in HKCEE, or equivalent, but
who have met the other entry requirements may also apply. However, they
will only be considered for appointment subject to their passing the Chinese
Government Standard Examination to be held in May/August 2011; and
(ii) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong
Institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also
apply but should attach copies of their official transcripts and certificates to
their applications to facilitate qualification assessment.)
Permanent Residency Requirement
4. Persons who are not permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special
Administrative Region (HKSAR) may also apply for the Surveyor of Ships (Ship) post but
will be appointed only when no suitable and qualified candidates who are permanent residents
of the HKSAR are available.
Duties
5. A Surveyor of Ships (Ship) is mainly deployed on -
(a) undertaking statutory and other related duties under the Merchant
Shipping Ordinances pertaining to maritime safety, pollution prevention,
security, seafarers welfare and management including casualty
investigations and audit on Hong Kong registered ships and their
companies; and
(b) undertaking duties as a naval architect for the Government on the
construction of new vessels and maintenance of the Government Fleet.

Note 2 For civil service appointment purpose, ‘Grade C’ and ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language
(Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE is accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 3’ and ‘Level 2’

Terms of Appointment
6. Successful candidates will be offered appointment either on trial or on
probationary terms as appropriate.

Basic Law Knowledge Assessment
7. For the purpose of heightening public awareness of the Basic Law (BL) and
promoting a culture of learning of BL in the community, assessment of BL knowledge will be
included in the recruitment for all civil service jobs. Results of the BL test for degree/
professional grades will be one of the considerations to assess the suitability of a candidate but
will not affect his/her eligibility for applying for civil service jobs. As a general principle, the
main consideration for suitability for appointment remains a candidate’s qualification,
experience and caliber.

Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) Note 2, or
equivalent.

Applications are invited from serving civil servants for appointment as Surveyor
of Ships (Engineer and Ship) in the Marine Department.
Pay Scale
2. The pay scale of Surveyor of Ships (Engineer and Ship) is from Master Pay Scale
Point 34 ($49,480) to Master Pay Scale Point 44 Note 1 ($74,675) per month. The pay and
incremental date for a successful candidate will be determined in accordance with the
provisions of Civil Service Regulations 130 and 133 and as set out in the letter of appointment.
(Note: Subject to the prevailing situation, candidates with additional experience
may be granted increments for previous relevant experience in excess of the
stipulated minimum.)
Entry Requirements
3. Candidates should have:
(a) (i) a degree in engineering or technology relevant to the work of the
surveyor of ships; or a corporate membership of an engineer
institution by examination acceptable to the Director of Marine;
and a Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) Class
1 issued by or acceptable to the Director of Marine; or

(ii) a Certificate of Competency as Extra First Class Marine Engineer
Officer acceptable to the Director of Marine; or
(iii) a degree in Mechanical/Marine Engineering or equivalent; a
corporate membership of an engineer institution acceptable to the
Director of Marine; and a Certificate of Competency (Marine
Engineer Officer) Class 2 issued by or acceptable to the Director
of Marine; and
(b) (i) for candidates having qualifications as stipulated in (a)(i) or (ii)
above, two years’ experience at the rank of 2nd engineer or above
on sea-going ships or at equivalent responsible levels in the
maritime engineering related industry; or
(ii) for candidates having qualifications as stipulated in (a)(iii) above,
four years’ experience at the rank of 2nd engineer or above on
sea-going ships or at equivalent responsible levels in the maritime
engineering related industry; and
(c) ‘Level 2’ or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the
Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE)Note 2, or
equivalent.
(Note: (i) Candidates without a pass in Chinese Language in HKCEE, or equivalent, but
who have met the other entry requirements may also apply. However, they will
only be considered for appointment subject to their passing the Chinese
Government Standard Examination to be held in May/August 2011; and
(ii) Holders of academic qualifications other than those obtained from Hong Kong
Institutions/Hong Kong Examinations and Assessment Authority may also apply
but should attach copies of their official transcripts and certificates to their
applications to facilitate qualification assessment.)
Note 2 For civil service appointment purpose, ‘Grade C’ and ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language
(Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE is accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 3’ and ‘Level 2’

Permanent Residency Requirement
4. Persons who are not permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special
Administrative Region (HKSAR) may also apply for the Surveyor of Ships (Engineer and
Ship) post but will be appointed only when no suitable and qualified candidates who are
permanent residents of the HKSAR are available.
Duties
5. A Surveyor of Ships (Engineer and Ship) is mainly deployed on -
(a) undertaking statutory and other related duties under the Merchant
Shipping Ordinances pertaining to maritime safety, pollution prevention,
security, seafarers welfare and management including casualty
investigations and audit on Hong Kong registered ships and their
companies;
(b) undertaking duties as a marine engineer consultant or manager for the
Government on the construction of new vessels and maintenance of the
Government Fleet;
(c) conducting examinations for all classes of marine engineer officers’
certificates; and
(d) undertaking statutory and other related duties under the Boiler and
Pressure Vessels Ordinance.
(Remarks: All Surveyors of Ships (Engineer and Ship) are required to travel abroad to carry
out surveys or audits.)
Terms of Appointment
6. Successful candidates will be offered appointment either on trial or on
probationary terms as appropriate.

Basic Law Knowledge Assessment
7. For the purpose of heightening public awareness of the Basic Law (BL) and
promoting a culture of learning of BL in the community, assessment of BL knowledge will be
included in the recruitment for all civil service jobs. Results of the BL test for degree/
professional grades will be one of the considerations to assess the suitability of a candidate but
will not affect his/her eligibility for applying for civil service jobs. As a general principle, the
main consideration for suitability for appointment remains a candidate’s qualification,
experience and caliber.

Terms of Appointment
6. Successful candidates will be offered appointment either on trial or on
probationary terms as appropriate.

Basic Law Assessment
7. For the purpose of heightening public awareness of the Basic Law (BL) and
promoting a culture of learning of BL in the community, assessment of BL knowledge
will be included in the recruitment for all civil service jobs. Results of the BL test for
degree/professional grades will be one of the considerations to assess the suitability of
a candidate but will not affect his/her eligibility for applying for civil service jobs.
As a general principle, the main consideration for suitability for appointment remains a
candidate’s qualification, experience and caliber.

8. Application Forms on G.F. 340 (Rev. 1/2011) together with copies of
transcripts and certificates in support of the academic and professional qualifications,
and CRE results; and support documents of working experience, should be forwarded
to the Appointments Sub-section, Housing Department, 3/F, Block 2, Housing
Authority Headquarters, 33 Fat Kwong Street, Ho Man Tin, Kowloon on or before 11
March 2011. Please specify the title of the post being applied for on the envelope.
On-line application can also be made through the Civil Service Bureau's website
(http://www.csb.gov.hk). Candidates who apply online should submit copies of
transcripts and certificates in support of the academic and professional qualifications,
and CRE results; and support documents of working experience within one week
after close of application period to the above enquiry address, and the online
application number should be quoted on the envelope and the copies of supporting

園境師
在職公務員現可申請轉任房屋署的園境師。
薪級表
2. 園境師的薪級表為總薪級表第30點( 每月42,410元) 至總薪
級表第44點( 每月74,675元)註1。獲取錄人員的薪酬及增薪日期將按
照《公務員事務規例》第130及第133條的規定訂定, 並會載列於聘
書上。
[註︰ 視乎當時的情況, 具有較多經驗的人士, 可能因為具備超出最
低規定的園境工作經驗而獲給予額外增薪點。]
入職條件
3. 申請人必須:
(a) 為1997年1月1日或以後選出的香港園境師學會專業會員( 如在
1997年1月1日之前選出, 須獲該會重新確認其專業資格) , 或
具備同等資格;
(b) 在取得資格後至少具備一年合適的工作經驗;

永久性居民身份
4. 申請人於獲聘時必須是香港特別行政區永久性居民。在一九
九七年七月一日之前初次按公務員聘用條款受聘而其服務並無中斷

職責
5. 園境師的主要職責是–
(a) 擬備總綱計劃和詳細圖則, 以善用房屋委員會轄下公共屋邨的
休憩用地; 以及監管、發展和維修保養該等用地;
(b) 在園境工程方面提供意見;
(c) 向其他政府部門提供專業意見。

上, 並在同一次考試中各項個別分級取得不低於6 的成績的人士, 在IE LTS 考試成績的兩年有
效期內, 會獲接納為等同綜合招聘考試英文運用試卷的二級成績。IE LTS 考試成績必須在職
位開始接受申請的首天( 即2 0 1 1 年2 月2 5 日) 仍然有效。

《基本法》知識評核
7. 為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》
的風氣,所有公務員職位的招聘,均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。
申請人在基本法測試(學位/專業程度職系)的表現, 會用作評核其整
體表現的其中一個考慮因素, 但不會影響其申請公務員職位的資
格。原則上, 申請人的學歷、經驗和才能仍然是考慮其是否適合被
聘用的主要因素。
申請手續
8. 申請人須以通用表格第340 號(1/2011 修訂版)提出申請。申
請書, 連同學歷及專業資格的證書副本、成績單和綜合招聘考試成
績通知書的副本, 以及工作證明, 須於二零一一年三月十一日或之
前送達九龍何文田佛光街33 號房屋委員會總部第二座3 樓房屋署委
任分組。請在信封面上註明申請的職位。申請人亦可透過公務員事
務局的網站(http:/ /www.csb.gov.hk)作網上申請。申請人如在網上遞
交申請, 必須於截止申請日期後的一星期內把學歷及專業資格的證
書副本、成績單和綜合招聘考試成績通知書的副本, 以及工作證明
寄交上述查詢地址, 及在信封面和文件副本上註明網上申請編號。
如申請人未能在訂定的一星期內提供所需的證明文件, 其申請書將
