(A) With reference to Education Bureau(EDB) Internal Circulars Nos. 5/2009 and 6/2009, both dated 25 August 2009, officers of divisions/sections and governments schools involved in procurement activities are required to note that the Bureau may arrange direct purchases if:
- stores are not held in the Government Logistics Department Unallocated Stores
- stores are not available in EDB Store at North Point
- services cannot be undertaken by Bureau and government departments
- stores/services in the case a government contract does not exist

This site provides information for the supply of PC Products and Related Services under Standing Offer Agreement (SOA). The validity period of the Standing Offer Agreement is 36 months effective from 1 January 2011 with an option for earlier termination after the first 24th month.
The hardware, software, related services and trade-in service to be purchased are classified into four Requirement Categories: Total System Solution (complete product range), Computer Products and Other Peripherals, Add-on Software, and Printers.
