About the Spam Mail

Spam mail which contain forged sender address(es) appearing to be the recipients' own.

Such emails contain forged sender address(es), appearing to be sent by the recipient herself/himself, and also contain forged carbon-copy address(es), thus appearing to have copied to other users. It is noted that fake emails of similar kind have been reported in other parts of the world. More information about the spam was published by anti-virus company, at -

The spam mails are of similar contents with various subjects following patterns below, a sample is attached.

- From International Real Estate Consulting
- from International Consulting Company
- Message #[a six-digit number]
- Your offer: n.[a six-digit number]
- resume #[a six-digit number]
- subscribe: n.[a four-digit number]


The email subject will be prefixed with "[Possible SPAM]" when users receive the emails after anti-spamming system can identify such kind of emails as possible SPAM emails.

As a general practice, Internet Mail users are advised NOT to respond to any spam mails and disclose any organizational or personal information by replying to or clicking any links contained in the spam mail.

下載的影片變成了 FCGI 檔案

問：我下載了一些短片，但檔案卻是FCGI，原因為何？


答：
 假若你是用「迅雷5」下載影片，打包下載便有可能出現這個問題，除了一個一個文件下載，便唯有更改副檔名了。


如果在檔案名稱中看不到副檔名，可以先設定成檢視所有隱藏的檔案類型和副檔名，然後便可以更改了。



如果更改了副檔名也不行，可試一試Format Factory。這是一款免費的格式轉檔程式。

救回未儲存的 WORD 文件

如果你未儲存好文件便關機，如何可以找回該文件？

如果你是使用 Windows 2000 / XP 的話，請到「C:\documents and settings\你的用戶名稱\Application Data\Microsoft\Word」資料夾
如果你是使用 Win 98／ Me 的話，請到「C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Word」資料夾

wbk 文件：因為嚴重故障等問題重新啟動Word時，Ms Word 自動還原的檔案。
tmp 文件：Ms Word 每次儲存文件時皆會產生一個暫存檔，當你將 Word 正常關閉後，這些檔案就會全部消失。

故此你可以試一試這些檔案有否你需要的文件，請緊記要先把系統設定為檢視所有隱藏的檔案類型和副檔名，因為 tmp 文件可能是隱藏檔。

辦公室保安措施

各位同事：

為加強辦公室保安措施，請各同事經常提高警覺，妥善保管存放於工作間的政府及私人財物，並注意以下事項：

1.    經出入口或各通道進出辦公室後，應確保該門戶已妥善關好及鎖上，以免閒雜人等進入。

Cannot show icon well after installed office 2007 compatibility pack

問：安裝了 2007 File Format Converters 相容程式 (Microsoft Office Word、Excel 及 PowerPoint 檔案格式相容性套件)後，發現能夠正常開啟及修改 docx、xlsx 及 pptx 等 Open XML 檔案，但檔案的圖示卻未能正常顯示，原因是甚麼？


答：其實只要重新啟動電腦，docx、xlsx 及 pptx 等 Open XML 檔案的 icon 便會正常顯示出來
