二級電腦操作員
在職公務員現可申請轉任二級電腦操作員。
薪級表
2. 二級電腦操作員的薪級表為總薪級表第6點(每月12,380元)至總薪級表第15點註1 (每月20,950元)。獲取錄人員的薪酬及增薪日期,將依照《公務員事務規例》第130及第133條的規定訂定,並會載列於聘書上。
入職條件
3. 申請人必須:
註 1
有關月薪和頂薪點的資料只供參考,該等資料日後或會作出更改。
(a)
在香港中學會考五科註 2 取得第2等級/E級或以上成績,或同等學歷註 3;
(b)
在以下方面具備一年相關經驗:
(i) 管理和操作電腦系統或電腦應用系統;或
(ii) 為終端機用戶提供支援服務;以及
(c)
符合語文能力要求,即具備香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2等級或以上的成績,或同等學歷註3。
(註: 合適的申請人如未具備可接納的本地中文學歷,亦可申請,但可能須參加公務員考試組舉辦的適當政府語文考試並取得及格,方可獲得聘用。)
永久性居民身分
4. 獲取錄的人員必須是香港特別行政區永久性居民。在一九九七年七月一日前初次按公務員聘用條款受聘而服務並無中斷的在職公務員,則屬例外。
職責
5. 二級電腦操作員主要負責:
(a) 操作和監察電腦設備、網絡和數據中心/伺服器室設施;
(b) 向用戶提供資訊科技支援和求助台服務,並協助執行事故管理工作;
註 2 該五科可包括中國語文科和英國語文科。
註 3 政府在聘任公務員時,過往香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙)E級的成績,在行政上會分別被視為等同2007年及其後舉行的香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科第2等級的成績。
(c) 協助管理電腦工件處理,並協助執行資訊科技服務的系統和保安監察工作;
(d) 協助採購資訊科技設備和服務,並協助處理合約管理和電腦場地準備工作,以及協助管理資訊科技資產和外間供應商;以及
(e) 協助整理記錄和文件,並協助編製管理統計資料和報告。
電腦操作員須輪班當值(包括通宵班),並可能須在星期日和公眾假期工作。
(註:可能被調派到政府資訊科技總監辦公室或不同政策局/部門工作。)
聘用條款
6. 申請人如獲錄用,將按個別情況以試任或試用條款受聘。
(註:入職薪酬、聘用條款及服務條件,應以發出聘書時的規定為準。)
《基本法》知識評核
7. 為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣,所有公務員職位的招聘,均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。申請人如獲邀參加遴選面試,會被安排於面試開始前或結束後參加《基本法》筆試。申請人在《基本法》知識測試的表現,會用作評核其整體表現的其中一個考慮因素。
申請手續
8. 截止申請日期為二零一零年十二月二十八日。申請人遞交申請表格[G.F.340 (3/2008修訂版)]時,須一併遞交履歷(列明在使用電腦系統或提供網絡支援服務方面的實際工作經驗)、工作證明和有關證書/成績單副本。有關申請表格可向民政事務總署各區諮詢服務中心或勞工處就業科各就業中心索取;或可從公務員事務局網站(http://www.csb.gov.hk)下載。
9. 申請人須把填妥的申請表格[G.F.340 (3/2008修訂版)],連同履歷、工作證明和有關證書/成績單副本一併放入密封的信封內,於二零一零年十二月二十八日或之前送達香港灣仔港灣道十二號灣仔政府大樓十五樓政府資訊科技總監辦公室聘用組。請在信封面註明申請「二級電腦操作員」職位(信封上的郵戳日期會視作遞交申請日期)。
10. 沒有使用申請表格[G.F.340 (3/2008修訂版)]填報資料的申請,或透過傳真或電郵遞交的申請,或不完整、逾期遞交、未妥為簽署的申請,或沒有夾附履歷和上述所需文件副本的申請,概不受理。
11. 申請人如獲邀參加面試,通常會在截止申請日期後約十個星期內接獲通知。申請人如未獲邀參加面試,則可視作落選論註4。獲邀參加面試的申請人並不表示已符合所申請職位的入職條件。
註4 如果符合訂明入職條件的應徵者人數眾多,招聘部門可以訂立篩選準則,甄選條件較佳的應徵者,以便進一步處理。在此情況下,只有獲篩選的應徵者會獲邀參加遴選面試。

Computer Operator II
Applications are invited from serving civil servants for appointment as Computer Operator II.
Pay Scale
2. The pay scale of Computer Operator II is from Master Pay Scale Point 6 ($12,380 per month) to Master Pay Scale Point 15 Note 1 ($20,950 per month). The pay and incremental date for a successful candidate will be determined in accordance with the provisions of Civil Service Regulations 130 and 133 and as set out in the letter of appointment.
Note 1 The information on the monthly salary and maximum pay point is for reference only and may be subject to changes.
Entry Requirements
3. Candidates should have -
(a)
Level 2/Grade E or above in five subjects Note 2 in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent Note 3;
(b)
one year’s relevant experience in –
(i)
the control and operation of a computer system or computer application; or
(ii)
the provision of support services to terminal network users; and
(c)
met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the HKCEE, or equivalent Note 3.
(Note :
Suitable candidates without an acceptable local qualification in Chinese language may also apply. Such candidates may be required to pass an appropriate government standard examination conducted by the Civil Service Examinations Unit before they can be offered appointment.)
Permanent Residency Requirement
4. Selected appointees must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region unless they were first appointed on civil service terms of appointment before 1 July 1997 and have continued in service without a break.
Duties
5. A Computer Operator II is mainly deployed on –
(a)
operating and monitoring computer equipment, network and data centre/server room facilities;
(b)
performing user IT support, help desk, and assisting in incident management;
Note 2 The five subjects may include Chinese Language and English Language.
Note 3 For civil service appointment purpose, ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 2’ respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth.
(c)
assisting in management of computer job processing, system and security monitoring of IT services;
(d)
assisting in procurement of IT equipment and services, contract administration, site preparation, and management of IT asset and external suppliers; and
(e)
assisting in maintenance of records and documentation, and compilation of management statistics and reports.
Computer Operators are required to perform shift duties (including overnight shift) and may be required to work on Sundays and public holidays.

May be posted to work in the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer or various bureaux/departments.)
Terms of Appointment
6. Successful candidates will be offered appointment either on trial or on probationary terms as appropriate.

The entry pay, terms of appointment and conditions of service to be offered are subject to the provisions prevailing at the time the offer of appointment is made.)
Basic Law Assessment
7. For the purpose of heightening public awareness of the Basic Law (BL) and promoting a culture of learning of BL in the community, assessment of BL knowledge will be included in the recruitment for all civil service jobs. Candidates who are invited to attend the recruitment interview will be assessed on their BL knowledge through a written test to be conducted immediately before or after the recruitment interview. The BL test result will be one of the considerations to assess the suitability of a candidate.

8. The closing date for application is 28 December 2010. Applicants are required to submit a resume listing their hands-on experience on computer system or network support services together with photocopies of job references, relevant certificates / transcripts as well as their applications on G.F. 340 (Rev. 3/2008) which are obtainable at any Public Enquiry Service Centres of District offices, Home Affairs Department or any Job Centres of the Employment Services Division of the Labour Department. The G.F. 340 (Rev. 3/2008) can also be downloaded from the Civil Service Bureau’s website (http://www.csb.gov.hk).
9. Completed application forms [i.e. G.F. 340 (Rev. 3/2008)] together with resume, photocopies of job references and relevant certificates / transcripts should reach Appointments Section, Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, 15/F, Wanchai Tower, 12 Harbour Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong in sealed envelope not later than 28 December 2010. Please specify ‘COp II’ on the envelope (the postmark date on the envelope will be regard as the date of application).
10. Applications not made on G.F. 340 (Rev. 3/2008), or submitted by fax or e-mail, or applications which are incomplete, late, not duly signed, or without resume and photocopies of the above required documents will not be considered.
11. Candidates who are selected for interview will normally receive an invitation in about ten weeks from the closing date for application. Those who are not invited for interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful Note 4. An invitation to the interview does not imply that the candidate’s qualifications meet the entry requirements of the post he/she has applied for.

Note 4 Where a large number of candidates meet the specified entry requirements, the recruiting department may devise shortlisting criteria to select the better qualified candidates for further processing. In these circumstances, only shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend the selection interview.
