二級政府車輛事務主任

在職公務員現可申請轉任二級政府車輛事務主任。
薪級表
2 . 二級政府車輛事務主任的薪級表為總薪級表第1 3 點(每月1 8 , 9 9 0 元)
至總薪級表第2 3 點註一(每月3 0 , 7 8 5 元)。獲取錄人員的薪酬及增薪日期將依
照《公務員事務規例》第1 3 0 及1 3 3 條的規定訂定, 並會載列於聘書上。
入職條件
3 . 申請人必須-
(a) (i) 持有由香港專業教育學院頒發的《運輸及物資流程學高
級文憑》或同等學歷;

(ii) 持有由前香港理工學院或工業院校頒發的《督導職級管
理課程證書》或同等學歷,以及有五年督導管理經驗,
其中三年須從事督導及監控運輸服務的工作;

(b) 符合語文能力的要求,即在香港中學會考中國語文科及英國語
文科取得第2 等級或以上成績, 或具同等學歷。註二
註一 頂薪點的資料只供參考之用, 該項資料日後或會作出更改。
註二 政府在聘任公務員時, 過往香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙)C 級及
E 級的成績, 在行政上會分別被視為等同2 0 0 7 年及其後舉行的香港中學會考中國
語文科和英國語文科第3 等級和第2 等級的成績。

永久性居民身分
4 . 獲取錄的人員必須是香港特別行政區永久性居民。在一九九七年
七月一日之前初次按公務員聘用條款受聘而其服務並無中斷的在職公務員
則屬例外。
職責
5 . 二級政府車輛事務主任主要負責-
( a ) 督導政府司機的調配及政府/ 租賃車輛的使用;
( b ) 就部門運輸服務的需求作出預算;
( c ) 安排及跟進政府車輛的保養及維修;
( d ) 為政府司機安排培訓; 及
( e ) 協助執行評估運輸管理的工作。
二級政府車輛事務主任可能須要不定時工作及於戶外工作。
聘用條款
6. 申請人如獲錄用, 將按個別情況以試任條款或試用條款受聘。入
職薪酬、聘用條款及服務條件應以發出聘書時的規定為準。
《基本法》知識測試
7 . 為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的
風氣, 所有公務員職位的招聘, 均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。申請人
如獲邀參加遴選面試, 會被安排於面試當日參加基本法筆試。筆試會於面
試開始前或結束後舉行。申請人在基本法知識測試的表現, 會用作評核其
整體表現的其中一個考慮因素。
申請手續
8 . 申請人須以政府職位申請書 [G.F. 3 4 0 ( 3 / 2 0 0 8 修訂版)]提出申請。
申請書須於二零一零年十二月三十一日或之前連同學歷證書、修業成績單
及相關工作經驗證明副本(如適用)送達香港北角渣華道3 3 3 號北角政府合
署9 樓政府物流服務署編制及委任小組。申請人亦可在公務員事務局網站
( h t t p : / / w w w . c s b . g o v . h k )上遞交申請書。申請人如在網上遞交申請書,必須在
二零一一年一月七日或之前, 將上文所述的證明文件副本送達上述地址,

並在信封面和所有文件副本上註明網上申請編號。若以郵寄遞交申請, 請
於信封面上清楚註明「申請二級政府車輛事務主任」, 而信封上的郵戳日
期將視為申請日期。所有申請書, 如資料不全、或逾期遞交、或以傳真或

Transport Services Officer II

Applications are invited from serving civil servants for appointment as
Transport Services Officer II.
Pay Scale
2. The pay scale of Transport Services Officer II is from Master Pay Scale
Point 13 ($18,990 per month) to Master Pay Scale Point 23 Note 1 ($30,785 per
month). The pay and incremental date for a successful candidate will be determined
in accordance with the provisions of Civil Service Regulations 130 and 133 and as
set out in the letter of appointment.
Entry Requirements
3. Candidates should have –
(a) (i) a Higher Diploma in Transport and Logistics Studies from
the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education, or
equivalent;
or

(ii) a Certificate in Supervisory Management from the former
Hong Kong Polytechnic or a technical institute, or
equivalent; and 5 years’ supervisory experience, 3 years of
which should be in the supervision and control of transport
services;
and
(b) met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in
Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong
Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent.
Note 2
Permanent Residency Requirement
4. Selected appointees must be permanent residents of the Hong Kong
Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless they were first
appointed on civil service terms of appointment before 1 July 1997 and have
continued in service without a break.
Duties
5. A Transport Services Officer II is mainly deployed on –
(a) supervising the deployment of government drivers and
government / hired vehicles;
(b) preparing departmental transport estimates;
(c) arranging servicing / repair of government vehicles;
(d) organising training for government drivers; and
(e) assisting with transport management review.
A Transport Services Officer II may be required to work irregular hours and
perform outdoor duties.
Note 2 For civil service appointment purpose, Grade C and Grade E in Chinese Language and English
Language (Syllabus B) in previous HKCEE are accepted administratively as comparable to Level 3
and Level 2 respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and
henceforth.

Terms of Appointment
6. Successful candidates will be offered appointment either on trial or
probationary terms as appropriate. The entry pay, terms of appointment and
conditions of service to be offered are subject to the provisions prevailing at the
time the appointment is offered.
Basic Law Knowledge Assessment
7. For the purpose of heightening public awareness of the Basic Law and
promoting a culture of learning of Basic Law in the community, an assessment of
Basic Law knowledge will be included in the recruitment for all civil service jobs.
Candidates who are invited to attend an interview will be assessed on their Basic
Law knowledge through a written test to be conducted immediately before or after
the interview. The Basic Law test result will be one of the considerations to assess
the suitability of a candidate.

8. Applications on G.F. 340 (Rev. 3/2008), together with photocopies of
certificates and transcripts in support of the academic qualifications and supporting
documents of relevant working experience (if applicable), should reach the
Establishment and Appointment Unit, Government Logistics Department, 9/F,
North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong not later
than 31 December 2010. On-line applications can also be made through Civil
Service Bureau’s website (http://www.csb.gov.hk). Candidates who apply online
should submit supporting documents mentioned above to the above address not
later than 7 January 2011 with the online application number quoted on the
envelope and the copies of all supporting documents. For applications submitted by
post, please state on the envelope “Application for the post of Transport Services
Officer II”. The post mark date on the envelope will be regarded as the date of
application. Applications which are incomplete, late, or submitted by fax or email,
or not duly signed, or not made in the prescribed form, or not accompanied by
photocopies of the supporting documents as requested will not be considered.
9. Candidates who are selected for interview will normally receive an
invitation in 12 to 14 weeks from the closing date for application. This period may
be longer in exceptional circumstances, e.g. when a large number of applications
are received or when there are other complications. Those who do not receive an

invitation may assume that their applications are unsuccessful. Note 3

Note 3 Where a large number of candidates meet the specified entry requirements, the recruiting
department may devise shortlisting criteria to select the better qualified candidates for further
processing. In these circumstances, only shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend recruitment
examination and/or interview.
